From Center City by train (SEPTA)

Take the R5 Thorndale/Paoli regional rail line from any station in center city Philadelphia and get off at Narberth (3rd station after 30th Street Station). As soon as you walk down the stairs from the platform, make an immediate right on the first small street you see, and go straight up the hill to the brick building. Maido occupies the first floor.

From North of Philadelphia:

Take U.S. Route 1 SOUTH (Roosevelt Boulevard) towards Philadelphia.  Just after this 6-lane boulevard merges into 3 lanes and becomes a concrete freeway, and BEFORE it merges with the Schuylkill Expressway (Route 76 East), stay in the RIGHT lane and follow the signs for "Route 1 SOUTH".  This will briefly put you on 76 West but you will immediately see the signs for Route 1 South (City Avenue) EXITING LEFT.  Follow the ramp to City Avenue and merge RIGHT on City Avenue heading south.  Follow City Avenue (Route 1) for approximately 1 mile, passing St. Joseph's University.  After crossing a small bridge over the commuter railroad track at the Overbrook Station, at the next traffic light you will see a sign for "St. Charles Borromeo Seminary" on the RIGHT.  Turn RIGHT at the sign (E. Wynnewood Road) and follow E. Wynnewood Road for approximately 3/4-mile to the FIRST tunnel under the railroad, and turn RIGHT on to N. Wynnewood Ave. Follow 1 block to Windsor Avenue and turn RIGHT. Follow to Narberth Avenue (Post Office on the corner) and turn RIGHT. After the traffic signal, Maido! is the first driveway on the RIGHT.

From Philadelphia and New Jersey:

After crossing the Ben Franklin Bridge from NJ, follow 676 WEST (Vine St. Expressway) through Philadelphia and take 76 WEST towards Valley Forge.  Follow 76 WEST to the City Avenue (Route 1 SOUTH) exit that is about 1 mile past the Montgomery Avenue exit.  Exit LEFT and follow the ramp to City Avenue and merge RIGHT on City Avenue heading south.
